Quick, Easy Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken

We all have days when we're running low on time and we don't think we can whip up something healthy for our family.  Instead of turning to fast food, turn on the slow cooker!  This adapted recipe from Six Sisters' Stuff is extremely easy, but does take a little preparation and planning.  It's simple, healthy, and delicious, so enjoy.

Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken

Ingredients:

4  Chicken Breasts

1 Cup  Barbecue Sauce

1 Cup Pineapple Chunks

3 Cloves Garlic, minced

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

Put all ingredients in a freezer bag and freeze if making later (be sure to thaw in refrigerator the night before).

Empty bag in the crockpot.  Cook on Low for 4-6 hours.  Shred chicken with two forks while still in the crock pot so the chicken will be well coated with sauce.  Serve over rice.

Tips:

If you're watching carbohydrate intake, Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce has the lowest count.
Double this recipe and freeze in separate freezer bags – it's just as easy to make two!
